Scholarships

IODA Canada is committed to providing ten Scholarships for this year's conference. The scholarships are available to students and new practitioners in the field of organization development.

To receive a scholarship you must be a member of IODA. If a scholarship recipient is not able to pay for IODA membership, IODA may be able to offer a membership scholarship. For more information, please go to the main IODA website: www.iodanet.org

The scholarship provides conference registration and accommodation - a double room (shared with another attendee of the same sex), meals served at the conference facility and cultural events included in the conference program. It also covers transportation to and from the Kamloops, B.C. airport to the conference site.

Scholarship recipients are responsible for all other personal costs prior to, during and following the conference, including transportation costs from your country to Kamloops, B.C. Canada.

Your application will be reviewed with the following criteria in mind:

• Geographical diversity
• Sector balance – public, private, civil society
• Gender balance
• Interest in and experience with working in community or organizational settings
• Ability to function in English
• People from the host country of 2008 IODA conference – Ghana
• Previous experience with IODA
